Canson Mi-Tientes sanded paper

Posted on September 28, 2014 by coloredpencils Posted in General Information .

Can you tell me if Canson Mi-Tientes ‘sanded paper’ would be a suitable substitute for Pastel Board?  In Canada, where I am, I have easier access to the ‘sanded paper’.   I have samples of both and to me, they feel very similar.

Pam, I do not use that one but maybe another teacher can tell you about it.

I live in Surrey, B.C. I ordered the Pastelbord from Dick Blick and went to Blaine Wa . to pick it up. There wasn’t a scratch or chip in it. I will be ordering the correct sizes for the projects in a little while. Nilda Rodriguez also sells this on her site. Hope this helps a little.
