Nilda Rosa Rodriguez, Florida
Nilda is originally from Puerto Rico, a USA territory, and now lives in the state of Florida in the United States of America.
She has been painting since 1988 and became a Certified Decorative Painter in 2005.
Nilda painted solely in acrylics for several years until she had the courage to try oils on her own. Captivated by the elegance of oils she continued painting in this medium.
In 2007 she started designing in colored pencils. She now travel teaches across the United States and England, in oils, acrylics, and colored pencils, as well as being a frequent contributor to The Decorative Painter, official magazine of the Society of Decorative Painters.
Last year she was selected featured artist for both Ampersand Art Supply and Dynasty Brushes. She enjoys portraiture, still life, flowers, and birds. Her favorite subjects are often drawn from nature.
